Click image for full sizeVolume rendered PET/CT. There is a mid line squamous cell Ca of the tongue base. There is no adenopathy. We are seeing an increase in the number of patients with head and neck Ca being referred for PET/CT. As stated in an earlier post PET/CT's impact on staging and initial therapy decisions is significant.
